Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Samya Spa. As a key member of our wellness team, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in massage therapy, with a focus on soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. Your excellent communication skills and ability to explain procedures and risks will ensure a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy
  • Assess clients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Explain procedures and risks to clients, ensuring their understanding and comfort
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments provided
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients
Requirements:
  • Registration with a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Basic security clearance
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
