About the Role

CMI Heavy Industries is seeking a skilled Metal Products Manufacturing Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal products
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and other metal workers
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Dusty work environment
  • Noisy work environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment
