About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solar/BESS Technician to join our team at Spark Power. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar and battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain solar panels and battery energy storage systems
  • Perform electrical and mechanical work on renewable energy assets
  • Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and safety documentation
  • Use electrical testing equipment to ensure system performance and safety
  • Work in a team-based environment and independently as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of electrical experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical technology an asset
  • Valid driver's license with a suitable driving record
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
