We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at ROSS in Canada.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in cost accounting and experience with Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentive claims.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with our team of skilled tax professionals, scientists, and engineers to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
  • Assess client R&D projects to identify opportunities for SR&ED tax incentives.
  • Develop and implement effective costing strategies to maximize tax savings for our clients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all SR&ED activities and expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Examine client products and operations to determine which qualify for income tax incentives.
  2. Prepare all necessary documentation to file an SR&ED claim on behalf of our clients.
  3. Assist with research and correspondence with tax authorities to address any review issues.
Requirements:
  • CA, CMA or CGA designation.
  • 2+ years of experience with SR&ED tax claims.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in science or engineering an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong client focus and orientation towards achievement.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
