About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Assembler to join our team at Corporation Micro Bird inc. As an Automotive Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of motor vehicles, ensuring that all components are properly installed and functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure that your workspace is clean and organized, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams to understand the assembly process.
  • Assemble Motor Vehicle Components: Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder, or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together.
  • Connect Cables and Wires: Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies and installations.
  • Position and Install Parts: Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories according to specifications.
  • Inspect and Test Assemblies: Inspect and test motor vehicle electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance.
  • Inspect Auto Parts: Inspect auto parts for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Inspect Fully Assembled Motor Vehicles: Inspect fully assembled motor vehicles for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Power tools and hand tools.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
