About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Canada. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with sanctions compliance by executing monthly sanctions portfolio checks and daily monitoring of the Consolidated Canadian Autonomous Sanctions List.
  • Monitor our external Privacy Officer email inbox and respond timely to any complaints, requests, and concerns of data subjects.
  • Support the creation and review of process descriptions and local guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Local Compliance Officer on other Compliance fields, such as Anti-Corruption or Data Compliance.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Graduation from a degree program, such as Business, HR, or Law.
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of integrity.
  • Process-oriented and ability to understand complex business concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
