**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team in Thunder Bay. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents, working closely with project teams to ensure compliance with Owner's Statement of Requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement technical design solutions for facility construction, including interior and exterior assemblies.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to validate designs and deliverables, ensuring conformance to technical guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.
  • Provide technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
  • Assist with contract administration, including site visits and working with construction contractors.

**Requirements**

  • Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
  • 8+ years' experience working as an Architectural Technologist for an architectural consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated substantial product knowledge and ability to detail architectural building systems.
  • Construction site experience.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, and Microsoft 365 environment.
