At Skyworks, we are seeking a talented Test and Automation Engineer to join our Advanced Development Engineering Laboratory. Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to take part in a dynamic environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to drive the future of RF measurements using leading-edge hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot measurement issues to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Create and present product validation data reports for marketing and engineering purposes, providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Understand test requirements for RF products, including power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, couplers, switches, acoustic filters, and various integrated RF Front End WiLAN transmit/receive modules.
  • Support test technicians during day-to-day activities, providing guidance and expertise to ensure smooth operations.
  • Spectral Analysis, Network Analysis, Modulated Signal Analysis, and Digital control / Serial Bus Control.
  • Digital Pre-Distortion and Envelope Tracking, as well as DC analysis / Pulsed current.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 8 years' experience in an RF laboratory environment.
  • Thorough technical understanding and practical working knowledge of RF principles and theory.
  • Test Automation software capability, using LabVIEW, C#, Python, or Matlab.
  • Curious, creative, and a collaborative problem solver, with a focus on team collaboration and business outcomes.
  • Database scripting experience is an asset (SQL, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts is also an asset.

A competitive salary range of CAD $99,200 - $169,300 per year, with starting base pay depending on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and job duties and requirements.
