Job Summary

This position is responsible for owning the Asset Protection function of Asset Management in Western Canada. The successful candidate will implement the Asset Management strategy to maximize asset productivity, asset recovery, and deliver CHEP's value proposition to the equipment dealer/recycler channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with and monitor pallet recycler locations across Western Canada (BC to Manitoba)
  • Enforce CHEP's legal title and ownership of its assets
  • Lead regional legal actions against entities that do not comply with CHEP's asset ownership and property rights
  • Engage with commercial accounts that are uncooperative while working within the CHEP model/pool
  • Collaborate with local and regional authorities to collect and return CHEP assets
  • Support key Non Cooperative Distributor locations with a focus on fresh produce locations
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions, including pictures/drone footage of recycler locations
  • Manage process for increasing collections at recyclers with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information and key contact information in Salesforce
  • Regulate stray asset recovery and non-revenue earning asset programs
  • Enhance and monitor control systems and performance metrics to track asset productivity, minimize losses, and decrease asset cycle time
Requirements
  • University Degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain
  • Proven knowledge of Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Proven track record of success as part of a multi-level team
  • Expert in Relationship Building Capabilities
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Law Enforcement/Legal background ideal
What We Offer

Base pay starting at $88,000/annually. Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Other forms of compensation may be part of a total offering beyond medical & retirement benefits and may include other monetary incentives or business benefits.
