Job Title: Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The Baycrest Foundation Marketing Department is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to develop and implement visual communications strategies that support the objectives of all Baycrest departments and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, breadth of projects, and execution of design.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop marketing material opportunities and projects that align with Baycrest's objectives.
  • Produce a diverse range of deliverables, including reports, newsletters, invitations, programs, proposals, videos, animations, email and social graphics, direct mail, signage, logos, and branding.
  • Translate complex information into easy-to-digest graphic communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy across different channels and platforms.
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss design needs and work independently or with colleagues to bring projects to fruition.
  • Ensure schedules, timelines, and production requirements are maintained for each project.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and technologies, including AI, to ensure innovative designs are developed while maintaining brand integrity and uniformity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts in graphic design or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a mid-senior level graphic design role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, breadth of projects, and execution of design.
  • Expert-level knowledge and use of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Agency experience required or demonstrated experience serving multiple clients across industry verticals.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the multimedia production process, including print, digital, photography, illustration, and animation.
  • Knowledge of current trends, technologies, and platforms, including AI in workflows.
