Project Management II Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Management II professional to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and deliverables.
  • Lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring clear communication and coordination among project stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, driving relevant stakeholder meetings and regularly communicating project status, risks, and changes.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing risk mitigation and contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project deliverables are met within timelines and budget constraints.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, with a strong background in software development, data engineering, data analysis &/or data science.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams towards achieving project goals.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting and holding workshops with groups comprised of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, risk management, and change management strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
