We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Ed Sobkowich Greenhouses. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy greenhouse environment, ensuring the quality of our plants, and assisting in various tasks related to floriculture production.

• Clean and maintain the greenhouse, including weeding, pruning, and potting plants.
• Assist in the preparation of soils and fertilizers, and apply them as needed.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, ensuring optimal growth and health.
• Report any signs of insect or disease damage to the production team.
• Perform other tasks as required to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a greenhouse or floriculture production environment an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Work in a wet/damp environment with hot temperatures.
• Non-smoking environment.
• Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
