Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist 2 to join our team. As a Physiotherapist 2, you will work with children and youth with physical, neurological, and developmental challenges, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide physiotherapy services to children and youth with complex health needs, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each child or youth.
- Conduct home visits and provide education to families and caregivers on how to support the child or youth's physical and emotional needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to pediatric physiotherapy.
- Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
- Two years' recent related clinical experience with the designated client population, including care management experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
