Job Summary

We are seeking an Intermediate Control Systems Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals at our head office in Kitchener, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing automated controls systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial and manufacturing applications
  • Prepare functional specifications and electrical engineering designs
  • Assist with equipment selection and procurement
  • Program PLCs and design Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Provide site commissioning and installation support
  • Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and HMI systems
  • Support project proposals and estimation
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading teams and designing electrical control systems
  • Aptitude for programming ladder logic and knowledge of PLC platforms
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA platforms and programming languages
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Ability to complete security clearance requirements and travel up to 40% throughout the year
