Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler I to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and mounting electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto pans, into enclosures, and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto pans, into enclosures, and structures by following standard layouts.
  • Wire electrical products with basic and standard options as required by following customer drawing packages and schematics.
  • Wire electrical products with non-standard options by following customer drawing packages and schematics under the direction of a more experienced Electrical Assembler.
  • Check for functionality by performing continuity checks and buzzing out.
  • Complete checklists as required.
  • Assemble enclosures and structures where applicable.
  • Deliver sub-assemblies to production areas.
  • Support inventory maintenance in sub-assembly areas by performing cycle counts and following standard materials procedures.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge and experience with basic wiring schematic symbols.
