Experienced Concrete Finisher Wanted for Permanent Position

At BI Construction Company Inc., we are seeking an experienced and skilled concrete finisher to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable construction company, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the RoleWe require a highly motivated individual with 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of concrete finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, as well as excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Directing the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
- Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Imparting desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A valid driver's license and own transportation
- Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and gloves
- Basic security clearance and ability to pass a drug test
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
This role involves working outdoors in various locations, including commercial and residential sites. You will be exposed to dusty, hot, and noisy environments.
