Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead our Indigenous Health Initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that address the health needs of Indigenous populations in British Columbia.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and management for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that support Indigenous Health initiatives
• Collaborate with Indigenous Health directors and leadership to develop and implement strategic programs and projects
• Manage a diverse range of programs and projects, ensuring adherence to project protocols, timelines, and applicable institutional policies and procedures
• Develop and coordinate proposals, budgets, and workplans for proposed programs and projects, ensuring resources meet program objectives and deliverables
• Lead and coordinate strategic program teams, working groups, and advisory committees to achieve targeted goals and objectives
• Improve quality and effectiveness of IH team processes by formulating and implementing team-based recommendations

Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Health Administration, Social Justice, Transformative Organizational Change, or related field, and 5 years of recent experience in program management, facilitation, planning, or program development in healthcare or social services
• Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian colonial impacts on Indigenous people, health issues, legislation, and public policy affecting Indigenous people
• Knowledge and appreciation of unique history, cultures, and rights of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, and lived experience with Indigenous populations an asset
• Strong business writing and editorial abilities, technical skills in document management, and project management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with ability to function effectively in a complex and changing interdisciplinary healthcare environment
• Commitment to upholding shared responsibility of creating lasting reconciliation in Canada, as per TRC and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act
