About the Position
A skilled Fitter/Welder is required to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our shop floor, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding custom metal projects with precision and attention to detail. This role requires excellent time management skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of working well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and weld custom metal projects with precision and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals and deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fitter/Welder (FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW)
  • Successful completion of in-house testing, including Weld Test - FCAW Carbon Steel and Fillet Weld Test CSA W47.1
  • CWB welding tickets considered an asset
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, shrink rates of steel, and warping of steel
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
