About the Role:
We're seeking a Hebrew Localization QA Tester to join our team on an on-call basis. As a member of our QA team, you'll be responsible for testing video game titles and verifying all text, images, and voice-over components in Hebrew. Your eagle eyes will be essential in finding linguistic, visual, and cultural issues in the localized text.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Hebrew
- Find translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead
The Ideal Candidate:
- Native-level language competency in Hebrew
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
