Electrical Maintenance Specialist Opportunity at RONA Inc.

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at RONA Inc. in Canada.

This is a full-time position with a salary of $34.68 per hour, and the schedule is condensed to 4 days a week, Tuesday to Friday from 5:45am to 4:15pm. However, occasional overtime may be required.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical equipment within our Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) & DDCs is fully operational. This includes analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing broken equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks, continuous improvement & project-related tasks in electrical as well as general maintenance capacities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and strive to achieve or exceed performance goals.
  • Repair equipment breakdowns to minimize impact on operations.
  • Prioritize work based on business priorities and complete tasks on time.
  • Prepare documentation and records for communication and planning purposes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A qualification or significant work experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright.
  • A proven record of complying with safety requirements and the ability to build a culture of safety among subordinates and peers.
  • Experience with mechanical maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Solid working experience of mechanical drives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Decision-making skills based on limited information.
  • Time and budget management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
