About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Child Care Worker Assistant at Suntree Daycare & OSC Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Program Development: Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.
  • Support Children's Daily Needs: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observations and Reporting: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
