We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis Scientist to join our team at TD Bank, one of Canada's largest financial institutions. As a Data Analysis Scientist, you will play a key role in creating business requirements within an agile working environment, supporting different stakeholders across TD Insurance.

The ideal candidate has experience in working closely with business partners gathering BI requirements for reporting and/or data usage. You will be responsible for documenting business intelligence requirements, validating data mappings, and performing impact analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate with different teams within Platform and Technology or with other internal partners to ensure data availability and accuracy.

We offer a competitive salary range of $62,900 - $94,300 CAD, which is commensurate with your skills and experience. This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, analyzing complex data sets and developing insights to drive business decisions. You will also contribute to the development of business rules and validate data mappings to ensure accurate and reliable data.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including business partners, IT, and other stakeholders.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence projects/Reporting.
  • Good knowledge in data extraction and manipulation (Databricks, SQL or equivalent).
  • Be quality conscious.
  • Knowledge of the Insurance Industry.
  • Jira/Confluence, Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of Python, Tableau.
