Job Summary

Paladin Technologies is seeking a skilled Security Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

Responsibilities
  • Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems
  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components
  • Assist in system design and layout
  • Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates and documentation
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, CCTV, and pre-wiring is desirable but not required
