Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

The Electrical Systems Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical codes, and experience with basic tools such as power saws and drills.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with applicable code.
  • Assist in QA/QC documentation.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Identify components and mount nameplates and other identification tools according to wiring diagrams.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, including Canadian Electric Code and Electrical Utility Code.
  • Experience with basic tools such as power saws and drills.
  • Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Good communication and reading skills.

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
