Job Description

About This Role

This position is responsible for translating user needs into technical specifications, analyzing, developing, testing, and implementing new software programs. You will also perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of system and core software components.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Technical Specifications: Translate user requirements into technical specifications by understanding, conceptualizing, and facilitating technical requirements from users.
  • Software Development: Analyze, develop, test, and implement new software programs, and document the entire software development life cycle execution.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of system and core software components.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that code/configurations adhere to security, logging, error handling, and performance standards and non-functional requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a foundational level of proficiency in creative thinking, problem-solving, building and managing relationships, emotional agility, quality assurance and testing, cloud computing, microservices, and experience with setting up, development, and packaging of Spring Boot APIs in Java.

An intermediate level of proficiency is required in Java programming, Oracle SQL/PostgreSQL database queries, frontend development – HTML/CSS/JavaScript, TypeScript for debugging/troubleshooting Angular UI components, and knowledge of coding best practices and data structures/algorithms to optimize applications for performance.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $111,700.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
