Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and administer on-premise server infrastructure and cloud services
  • Follow team standards based on current industry and security best practices for server infrastructure configuration and implementation
  • Provide expert technical design, implementation, and administration of Microsoft on-premise Server environment and Azure cloud environment
  • Monitor, performance tune, troubleshoot, and resolve system problems to ensure system availability
  • Manage and maintain server disaster recovery, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing
  • Interact with our user base regarding technology issues and escalations
  • Work with server patch management processes and procedures to facilitate deployment
  • Maintain systems integrity through change control and problem management procedures and communication with internal customers
Requirements:
  • Minimum seven (7) years of recent and practical server administration experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of recent and practical senior server administration experience
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft on-premise server design, implementation, and administration
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Cloud (0365, Azure) design, implementation, and administration
  • Proven proficiency in VMware vSphere design, implementation, and administration
Working Conditions:

The resource will be required on-site at our Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra). A valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License or equivalent is required.
