- Administer budget and manage resources to ensure efficient delivery of dental services.
- Restore, extract, and replace diseased and decayed teeth using advanced dental techniques and materials.
- Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and other treatments to address complex dental issues.
- Supervise staff and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Design bridgework, fit dentures, and provide appliances to enhance patient comfort and functionality.
- Write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians.
- Act as consultants to other dentists and provide expert advice on dental matters.
- Manual dexterity is essential for performing dental procedures.
- Attention to detail is critical for ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Hand-eye coordination is necessary for precise dental work.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking is required for patient care and administrative tasks.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling may be necessary for patient examination and treatment.
- Ability to distinguish between colors is essential for accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Repetitive tasks may be involved in dental procedures and administrative duties.
- Previous experience in the field of employment is highly desirable.
- The highest level of study completed should be relevant to the field of dentistry.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
