Homes are a significant source of carbon emissions, and converting to heat pumps can make a substantial difference. However, adoption is hindered by high costs and friction in the retrofit process. To overcome this, we're building a fully vertically integrated home electrification company that will make heat pump adoption a no-brainer for homeowners.


Job Overview:
We're seeking highly motivated and passionate Heat Pump Installers to join our team. As our first install crew, you'll play a crucial role in helping us prototype processes and procedures that will be implemented across North America. Your responsibilities will include installing new heat pump systems, inspecting and maintaining existing systems, diagnosing and repairing issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve the product and streamline the install process.

Responsibilities:
• Install new heat pump systems
• Inspect and perform maintenance on existing heat pump systems
• Diagnose and repair heat pump system issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
• Test heat pump systems to ensure proper functionality
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes when installing or repairing systems
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams on the product and processes
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a heat pump installer or similar role
• Any formal training would be an asset
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Familiarity with blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
