Job Description

Job Title: Part-time Professor of Computer Science

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified part-time professor to teach a course on computer science at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science and be able to deliver high-quality instruction to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a course on computer science to undergraduate students
  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and theories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching computer science courses
  • Publication record in computer science research
  • Strong programming skills
