About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at GOLD STANDARD SIDING LTD. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects
  • Design and implement layouts that meet building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and steel
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware in residential and commercial settings
  • Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various industries
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and lifting
  • Combination of sitting and standing work
