About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-end Developer to join our team at Evolving Web. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge front-end interfaces using React, Angular, and other modern frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team of web developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality front-end solutions.
  • Develop custom Drupal and WordPress themes, ensuring seamless integration with our back-end systems.
  • Advise on front-end best practices for innovative and interactive features, driving user engagement and experience.
  • Implement front-end libraries and frameworks, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  • Contribute to and participate in the technical community, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and peers.
  • Create documentation and blog posts to share your expertise and showcase your work.
  • Make suggestions to improve design consistency and user experience, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of front-end experience working with a CMS or web development platform.
  • Experience using SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery, with a strong understanding of front-end development principles.
  • Demonstrated experience using JavaScript frameworks or libraries like React, Angular, or Bootstrap.
  • Experience working with a team using a standardized development workflow, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication.
  • Strong sense of UX and web usability best practices, with a focus on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Understanding of software development practices, including version control and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with git, with experience using it in a team environment.
  • Experience working with APIs, with a strong understanding of data integration and exchange.
  • Experience using a project management tool like Redmine or JIRA, with a focus on task management and collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Requirements
  • Experience with Drupal theming, with a strong understanding of Drupal's front-end architecture.
  • Experience using Gatsby, Next.js, or other modern front-end frameworks, with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Familiarity with the Linux command line, with experience using it in a development environment.
  • Strong communication skills in French, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients who speak French.
