Position Details

This role supports the development of market-competitive product and pricing proposals to drive sales objectives, working closely with the OEM Liaison Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely launch of new vehicle special programs, promotions, and pricing.
  • Driving success in the Max Standard Loan program by balancing volume and profitability.
  • Providing operational support related to Sales programs to ensure a high capture rate.
  • Supporting Retention by facilitating the development and launch of Loyalty Programs in market.
  • Working with Risk and Finance to secure NPI approval from HQ, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Sales Program Initiatives
    • Supporting new product launches and existing product enhancements across departments, specifically within the Sales Planning, Field Sales & Marketing Groups.
    • Providing reporting and insights to help Sales planning team present proposals at the Product & Pricing Committee.
    • Supporting Marketing by providing relevant content for Program communications.
  • Sales Strategy
    • Providing sales and pricing analysis for Performance Review activities.
    • Supporting HCCA's Green Vehicle initiatives, coordinating with the OEM Manager to bring new ideas to market in response to shifts within the automotive finance sector.
    • Engaging in competitive analysis to support strategy recommendations and tactical offers.
  • Month-End Activities
    • Coordinating monthly sales analysis and reporting, OEM sales performance, incentive program competitiveness analysis.
    • Conducting monthly benchmarking and proposing Product enhancements for the Max Standard Loan program or changes to remain competitive, as needed.
    • Preparing Sales Forecast files for monthly updates.
  • Retention & Loyalty
    • Supporting the development of Retention Offers across all brands, with input from the OEM Manager.
    • Tracking Retention uplift from in-market programs and offers.
  • Operational Support
    • Working with Operations and the OEM Manager to troubleshoot deals and new product implementations.
    • Supporting relevant IT implementations, including support for UAT testing.

Qualifications

This role requires:

  • 3-5 years of related financial analysis experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of competitive sales analysis experience.
  • Experience in automotive sales and/or automotive financing is preferred.

Education & Certification

A Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, or mathematics is required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

This role demands:

  • Advanced user proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and/or AWS.
  • Working experience with Tableau, SAS database, RPA, and analysis tools is preferred.
  • Experience in VBA and Advanced Macro Programming (MS Office) is an asset.
  • Expert-level skills with financial calculation and business case development to support product/pricing actions.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking.
  • Excellent work ethic, time management, and ability to prioritize.
