**Job Summary**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Egg Gathering Specialist to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As an Egg Gathering Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting eggs from the barn and transporting them to our hatchery for incubation and hatching.
Key Responsibilities
- Gathering eggs from the barn
- Cleaning and sorting eggs
- General cleaning and sanitation of the egg collection area
- Completion of required paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable, able to be at work every day, on time
- Able to work in a fast-paced and repetitive task environment
- Have the desire to learn
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Adhere to CHEQ, Biosecurity & Animal Welfare requirements (Training will be provided)
- Willing and able to work weekends and Statutory holidays
- Able to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation to the farm
