Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a restaurant environment, supervising a team of 5-10 people, including cooks, kitchen and food service helpers.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The hours of work are 30 hours per week.
