The SAP Internship Experience Program is a strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with meaningful career experiences. With this program, you'll gain cross-functional skills through virtual and in-person learning sessions, work with diverse subject matter experts, and develop project deliverables.

As a Database Support Specialist at SAP, you'll investigate and resolve critical system issues for Fortune 500 companies. You'll analyze complex problems, often working in production environments, and deliver solutions that make businesses run simpler and better. You'll collaborate with colleagues and customers worldwide, mastering SAP software used by industries, governments, and multinational companies globally.

We're seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You should enjoy working on innovative projects and be energized by lifelong learning. Required skills include:

  • Currently enrolled in a University degree in Computer Science, Business and Technology, or related areas
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent diagnostic and technical analysis skills
  • Ability to assess, plan, and troubleshoot while collecting information about the customer issue

A strong understanding of databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), data communications and networking (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS), RESTful web services, security technologies, and object-oriented programming languages is essential. Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems and working with customers is a plus.
