Mixology Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Mixology Expert to join our team at TownePlace Suites Mississauga-Airport Corporate Centre. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

• This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who is passionate about mixology and has excellent communication skills.
• You will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of guests from all over the world.

• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, take orders, and serve drinks and snacks;
• Assist in the planning and presentation of the bar menu;
• Check identification of the guests when in doubt, to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products;
• Arrange the bar area to create attractive displays;
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations;
• Possess the ability to sell or influence others by up-selling and suggestive selling;
• Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests;
• Maintain liquor inventory and consumption;
• Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts;
• Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies;
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Exceptional customer service skills;
• Smart Serve Certification;
• Food Handling Certification is an asset;
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends;
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

• A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience;
