Join Our Team as a Student Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Pharmacist to join our team at Wellness Pharmacy. As a Student Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pharmacy operations, including greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescriptions
  • Dispense medications and complete customer pickups
  • Assist with data entry, pharmacy inventory management, and technical/administrative tasks
  • Support specialty pharmacy programs, such as Home Monitoring

Opportunities for Growth:

  • Provide clinical services to patients in the community, including medication reviews, vaccinations, and health clinics
  • Develop strong written and verbal communication skills through regular interactions with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Gain experience in a fast-paced environment and develop problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Currently registered in a Pharmacist program with the BC College of Pharmacists
  • Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 15 kg (35 lbs)
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work proactively as a member of a dynamic team
