About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Vehicle Technician to join our team at Jerry's RV Trailer Sales & Service Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning our fleet of recreational vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cleaning machines to ensure our vehicles are in pristine condition
  • Clean soot and creosote from chimneys and fireplaces, as well as ducts, vents, and filters of furnaces
  • Clean building exteriors, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment
  • Clean interior and exterior of motor vehicles
  • Wash and clean interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces
  • Vacuum floors and wax and polish them to a high shine
  • Shampoo upholstery and provide exceptional customer service

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role
  • Standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads are also required
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are necessary for some tasks
  • Physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment is expected
  • Overtime may be required

Weight Handling:

  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) may be lifted or carried

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Flexibility and reliability are also necessary
  • A team player with a strong work ethic is ideal
  • Punctuality and a commitment to working 40 hours per week are expected
