We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Lead to join our team as a Workday Reporting Lead. This role will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of Workday reporting, with a focus on developing an organizational-wide reporting strategy.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of Workday reporting, including designing data models, preparing reports, and data visualizations.
  • Partner with functional leads and business subject matter experts to develop and maintain operational requirements for reporting and analytics.
  • Implement and automate data analysis, including preparing dashboards to identify issues and support initiatives.
  • Advise and support the business community by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate tools.
  • Define key indicators and prepare dashboards to identify issues and support initiatives.
  • Support user training and change management activities.
  • Work with the business to develop and maintain system documentation and design solutions to address articulated business needs.
  • Lead testing and deployment of configurations for functional areas under responsibility and assist with other functional areas as needed.
  • Serve as primary point of contact, collaborate with implementation partners, and report back to impacted team members.
  • Keep current of Workday architecture, provide expertise on touchpoints among functional areas, and necessary security, business process, data quality, integration, and reporting impacts resulting from configuration changes and system updates.
  • Coordinate with Business SME to demo new features, built solutions, and any communication or training assets to impacted user groups.
  • Post-deployment, provide technical support, maintenance, and system administration, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, managing integrations, and providing training and support to end users.

About You:

  • 2-3 years working directly with reporting solutions in Workday.
  • Workday Certification is a nice-to-have.
  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analysis, business analysis, or human resources, or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.
  • Minimum of 2 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or HR analytics.
  • Strong experience building reports in Workday.
  • Work experience in an HR role is an asset.
  • Strong data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of a data visualization tool.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and business presentations.
  • Ability to present operational problems in a precise and concise manner to an audience, and solve them effectively.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of management and collaborating with various stakeholders, demonstrating excellent collaboration abilities.
