Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Tower Automotive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engine repair and maintenance experience
  • Automatic transmission experience
  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system experience
