Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
- Disciplining children according to the parents' methods
- Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organizing activities such as games and outings for children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals
- Preparing children for rest periods
- Supervising and caring for children
- Taking children to and from school and to appointments
- Tending to the emotional well-being of children
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- The ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing situations
- Judgment and initiative
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
As a family caregiver with Private Home, you can expect:
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
