Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process medication orders and prepare prescriptions for distribution to patients.
  • Verify prescriptions for completeness and authenticity, and ensure that medications are accurately dispensed.
  • Prepare and process prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and packaging medications.
  • Enter and maintain accurate records of medication orders and dispensing information.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
