Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team of experienced personnel. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing labour tasks using tools in a safe manner, assisting apprentices and journeypersons with general labour tasks, and providing punctual service to the tasks assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform labour tasks using tools in a safe manner
  • Responsible for all non-trade labour
  • Provide punctual service to the tasks assigned
  • Assist apprentices and journeypersons with general labour tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Solid team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Deadline driven with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a face-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with the Foreman/woman to ensure that materials are delivered to the workforce in advance of the work
  • Ability to work in a construction site environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Completion of Grade 12 Diploma or GED
  • Construction labour experience considered an asset
