Physiotherapy Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating physical disabilities and incapacities linked to the neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve optimal functional performance
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and community organizations
• Manage projects and coordinate service plans

Requirements

• Member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec
• Master's degree in Physiotherapy
• Two years of relevant experience
• Experience with community-based interventions and project management

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English; Cree or French is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other computer applications
