Job Summary:

CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Standards Research team, you will be responsible for managing research projects, overseeing research methodology, and guiding the research team to produce high-quality research outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage research projects from intake to publication, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Oversee research methodology and quality of research outputs, ensuring alignment with CSA's standards and research goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to finalize and publish research reports, promoting them to external audiences.
  • Work with CSA staff to promote research projects, scholarship programs, and the Research Program, both internally and externally.
  • Manage the maintenance of CSA Communities Research site, promoting research program activities and initiatives.
  • Source and secure research contractors, developing Requests for Proposals, vetting applications, and developing contracts.
  • Support the management of Research Scholarship programs, promoting, administering, and reviewing applications.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree (e.g., Master's) with a focus on research.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a standards or research environment.
  • Experience in developing and managing research projects, publication of research, and working with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and organizational, planning, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in French will be given special consideration.
