About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to lead our plant operations team. As a Senior Plant Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the plant, including maintenance, quality control, and employee safety. You'll also work closely with our engineering team to develop and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of plant operations staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant
  • Develop and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new processes and systems
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of repairs and upgrades
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers
Requirements:
  • 2nd Class Stationary Engineer certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
