About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Be responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
  • Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Candidate must be able to provide birth certificate and passport as identification.
  • Candidate must have a valid Ontario driver's license and be able to provide utility bills showing current address.
  • Candidate must be able to pass RCMP fingerprint background check.
  • Candidate must have good command over the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Diploma/GED preferred.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified preferred.
  • Experience with automated pick and pack systems.
  • Familiarization with automated warehouse management system is an asset (PKMS).
  • Experience with an RF scanner.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to Lift and/or push/pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Be a team player and work within a diverse work environment.
  • Can Work by using health and safety methods.
  • Punctuality and good attendance record.
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
