Nurse Specialist Position

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Saskatchewan health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Clinical Nurse Specialist educates, mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit(s).
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of three to five years working in an acute care setting
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Requirements:
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic - Leadership skills
- Knowledge in education and program development, implementation and evaluation
