Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Community Integration Specialist to join our team at Impact North Shore. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct client services and supporting newcomers to adapt to life in Canada.

About the Role:

The Community Integration Specialist will conduct one-on-one detailed needs assessments and referrals, provide one-on-one information and orientation, facilitate group information and orientation sessions, offer service bridging, community connections, client outreach, resource development, and ensure service accessibility for all eligible clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client requirements
  2. Develop personalized plans to support client integration into Canadian society
  3. Foster relationships with community partners to enhance service delivery
  4. Provide resources and referrals to address client needs
  5. Evaluate and improve service delivery processes

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of immigrant settlement services and community engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as social work, sociology, or international relations

What We Offer:

Impact North Shore offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have access to professional development opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and a dynamic work environment.

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
