Job Opportunity: Elementary PE Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified Elementary PE Teacher to join our team at Alberta Accredited International Schools. As a Physical Education Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging physical education programs for elementary students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement physical education programs that promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Teach physical education classes to elementary students, focusing on various sports and activities
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with other subjects

Requirements:

  • Four-year University teaching degree in Elementary or Junior High Education
  • Teaching experience at the Junior High Or High School levels
  • Recognized professional teaching certification in Canada or the US
  • Proficiency in English with excellent pronunciation
  • Ability to teach in a cross-curricular and 21st Century learning environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Understanding of Career and Technology Foundations
  • Experience working with ELL students
